5 passenger comfort for 1000 miles
Hi. We have a 2013 ES 350. Later this month we have a long trip, and we're considering driving the ES. Looks like in the back seat we'll have 3 females, 5'6" and under, fairly slim. Would they be adequately comfortable?
Thanks in advance for the thoughts.

shouldn't have a problem with comfort. it really doesn't get that much more comfortable unless you step up to an LS. I had an ES300h loaner for 3 days not too long ago when I bought my IS350 to service a recall. while the rear seat is a bit narrow its plenty comfortable. if anything, the middle passenger may feel slightly uncomfortable. but then again, with any 1000 mile trip, everyone is bound to feel road fatigue even with frequent stops. good luck and have a safe trip!

If there really is a choice, ask the three people who will have to sit in the chairs. If not, at least talk about the plan so that there will be no surprises. You might go for a shorter ride, first. Maybe take them to dinner, thirty miles away...

Every 333 miles have them switch positions. Everybody gets to experience the middle seat...
