Thank you, I was really close to doing coilovers and tires just to finish the look, it just ended up costing more than I am ready to pay right now.
I think what I have done so far is a great touch for the ES.

That looks really nice. Did you have the wheels refinished to the black chrone or did you replace the original wheels completely with a new set? If you had them refinished, who did you have do them? I had a black chrome back on my TL and really liked them so I am thinking about having the ones on my X5d refinished using PVD but a friend of mine who ones his own powder coating business here in Charlotte.
One thing about the pano roof that I noticed in the BMW is that it does allow more road noise into the cabin when the glass is closed but the protective cover/sunshield has been retracted. After a while, you tend to not notice it as much. I expect that this would also be the case in the ES as well.

As far as the pano roof, the ES is very quiet. Unless you have a cross wind, 65-75 MPH is perfectly OK when opened. Driving with it closed I havent noticed any sound with or without the sun visor. My Wife was in the back seat a couple weeks ago while the roof was open, she said it was a little loud.

Lead Lap
The wheels were purchased as an exchange from Detroit Wheel. They can find most wheels through dealers or market. You pay a refundable deposit, place your order and when your new wheels come, you ship your old ones back to them. $700 plus shipping and a $1000 deposit is what I payed to get mine in Black chrome.
