I agree with you guys, $200 is a rip off for this map update. Not only that, I bought the car in July 2013 and it doesn't even have the major highways, but $100 GPS units at the time had all major highways.
We have a lot of new construction here in Raleigh, NC, such as the new 540 beltway. But even Garmin and Magellan is able to keep up with our changes here.

I'd be happy to pay $200. The issue is its more like $400 lol. I think $200 for the data is pretty reasonable assuming we can upload it ourselves, or make the process so simple for the dealer they can do it as a goodwill thing during a service. If you bought your car in July of 2013 it has 2012 maps.
The map data all comes from a couple sources, roads that are on Garmin or Magellan will be in the Lexus updates too, you just have to do the updates.
