My 2013 ES350 has 6000 miles on it and I am happy with the car which I had to custom order so that I have the safety features I wanted which include: radar controlled cruise and collision avoidance system, lane departure alert, automatic dimming of high beam and blind side monitor.
The one thing that does not seem to work is switching the cruise from vehicle to vehicle distance mode to conventional cruise mode. The instructions in the manual make no sense and no matter what I tried I can not get it to work without radar. The dealer is in another state and can't verify the issue because they did not see a car with radar control since I asked. I don't have a dealer near me either. Not a tragedy but if anyone of you have an ES350 with radar I would appreciate a response.

Simply push the cruise control stick towards the front of the car to cancel the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

Hi.....my nickname is Coach....comes from my days of competitive waterskiing. I have been a member for a while. Joined when I had an 03 SC430 and learned to appreciate Lexus quality and reliability. I needed to get into a 4 door sedan and made the huge mistake of buying a 2012 Audi A4....mainly because I didn't like the looks of the 2012 ES350. Fast-Forward to 2013 and fell in love with ES350. It's only been 3 months, I know I made a terrific choice and will have this car for years to come.

Hey Bruce van could you explain that wrap thing you did. What kind of material and where to get it? Is it permanent? I like it. Bought my wife a silver and was wondering how that might look.

Lexus Champion
ddmavis, it's a vinyl wrap from 3M.
I'm about 90% sure this is what the guy used:
http://www.metrorestyling.com/3M-Sco...1080-br212.htm
It's a black, brushed metal look. I didn't like the straight up black gloss and thought this would give the front end enough contrast. It looks black from a distance. I like the way it came out.

2013 ES300h
I've been drinving my ES300h for about 2 weeks now.Starfire Pear with black interior . Ultra Lux package. I traded in my 2009 Camry Hybrid so the hybrid powertrain is not new to me. I love the technology and I measure performance on a different set of dials.
I wanted a Lexus when I bought the Camry but they didn't have a hybrid power train for the ES then. I had every option available at that time in the Camry and as much as I loved it, the Lexus is a big upgrade.

[QUOTE=Welcome to CL;7286445]Members,
Hello
Picked my Lexus ES300h 2013 almost 2 weeks ago, and haven't stopped to the gas station yet. Smooth drive and very luxurious.
It's light gray with black int and light gray, almost white seats.
I didn't get a manual with it, I'll have to check back to the dealer for that. I would like to know if these cars have a GPS locator in the event they are stolen.

Hi everyone, happy to be here. Picked up our first Lexus a few days ago. Been a Subaru driver for the last 13 years. Had an Imprezza totaled while parkd outside our house, replaced that with a 2013 Legacy Limited, which was hit by a Prius at the beginning of the month and also totalled, both cases were not my fault. The Legacy was fairly upscale for Subaru and inline with moving to a family sedan. When purchasing it in late July 2012, I looked at the Lexus CT200h, but it was too small. Fast forward to early July 2013 and we were happy to find Lexus had introduced the 2013 ES300h. Not too happy to have to be buying a 2nd new 2013 model year car, but have been very happy with the ES300h. We got a good deal on a Luxury equipped model, Nebula Grey exterior, black interior (same color scheme as my Legacy) - $1,600 lower than the KBB Fair Purchase Price for our region and a little over $4,800 under MSRP.

No glass roof on the 300, only the 350. I think they gave them them spoiler to make up some of the cost of not having the roof.
