Looking around the internet, reception to the ES is almost universally positive

Didn't think I'd ever consider going back to a FWD car, but the ES looks great and might change my mind

I like how I came to this thread to comment that the new ES would look great with a set of CV1s only to have mike beat me to posting a photoshop

This new ES looks beautiful

I want to see someone photoshop the front of a GS F-Sport onto the ES body, with GS F-Sport rims. Any takers?

The more pictures get leaked, the more I really like this new ES. Perfect proportions all around. Good wheels and the wheel well gaps are perfect. The interior looks damn good, too. The pic above with the Vossen wheels looks remarkably sweet. Kind of takes away the thunder from the GS.

What a beautiful looking car! I really liked the 2nd gen ES but never cared for the rest, but this one is something else. This is going to be an runaway success for Lexus. Can't wait to see new IS!

Good job Lexus!

Granted this is a loaded ES, but I wonder what a regular base ES I interior would look like. Have the same somewhat basic concept like how the base RX looks like. No remote touch, but an empty space to put stuff in and a grey screen with black letters/numbers in the place of the navigation screen. Same as goes to the GS.

Wish they would have added more interior leather color options though, and had the ambient lighting under the wood as standard and not optional.

Otherwise, I love it, has a elegant yet muscular apparence with it! Bet it would good in black. I'll trade my LS 430 in on this beauty. I can't wait to see what the LS has in for us!!!!

All these replies brings back memories of the guy who posted to dissolve the ES so the GS could get better sales

The rims are sooooo begging for concave. Someone get Lexus HQ my contact info so we can put some multispoke concaves on there! lol
