Default Help replacing cup holder and ash tray

The wood on my ash tray and cup holder is in pretty bad shape, purchased the car preowned and I'm looking at replacing the cup holder and ash tray assembly myself. Dealer wants $190 labor, no thanks. I am a former mechanic (Years ago) so I am mechanically inclined. I'm going to order the 2 pieces and want to do it myself, I've been searching the forums/web and haven't found how to access the screws for the cup holder, removing trim etc. does anyone have any help they can offer? I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Almost all interior Lexus trim are secured by clips... just carefully pry them up.

Here is a diagram. To remove the rear panel, just pull it off... again, it's only secured by clips.

If the link doesn't work, PM me and I'll email it to you.

If you search eBay for: "es350 center console cup holder", you'll see a diagram of the cupholder part and also the screw holes for r/r.

I think that if you remove the center console then you should be able to figure out how to replace the cupholder part.

Two bolts under the carpet insides the console and two bolts at the back of the console after you pop off the whole rear vent piece and the whole console comes out. Then it's two star screws to remove the cup holder after the console is removed.

Default Cup holder tray replacement on ES350 2010

Can someone please post a video of how to replace the cup holder tray in an ES350 2010? I bought the part online, a genuine lexus part, but the Lexus dealership will not help me. I would like to do it myself but I’m having trouble figuring out how to get to it the correct spot. Someone please post a video of how to do this. Thank you very much.
