Default full size spare tire

I think I got full size spare tire, does it have identical wheel and tire?
I might replace it with one, my wife already managed to scratch one rim little bit

If you do have a full size spare it's the same wheel and tire size as the others on the car.

Have you look in the trunk? You'll find the answer to your question in there under the trunk mat.

A few years back when I bought my 2007 Es350, it was actually a $225 standalone option for a "full size spare". This was factory alloy rim (like the other 4). I figured it was a good deal anyway considering you could barely buy the MIchelin tire or the actual rim alone for that amount of money. You could of course use it as a replacement rim too if one of your other rims were to suffer any damage.
I don't remember if on my 2010 it was still an actual "option" or it may have become standard equipment.

I think it's always a good idea to get the full size if you can for the reasons stated above.

It's still an option, a $205.00 option.

LexusGuy, I bit my tongue with the OP to ask him the same thing

I never thought to check the spare tire on my '11. Going to look and see.

The full size spare tire/rim and wheel locks are standard equipment in Canada.

Just checked: full size here in PA. I remembered our local Lexus dealer ordered all of his 2011 ES350 inventory with spoilers and bodyside moldings. I would think the reason was to make the car look a little different than the older models, hence you thinking that they were changed quite a bit. Plus more profit margin too.

From 2002 and on, the ES has come with full size spare and wheel locks as standard in SoCal (as in, the options are already added to the base price). I do a 5-tire rotation to get as much life out of the short-lived OEM tires, and to allow for more even wear amongst the tires in case I need to swap the spare in due to a flat tire. At end of life, I keep the best one out of the 5 as a spare and get a set of 4 different/better replacement tires.

Default Missing Spare Wheel

My 2007 ES50 is missing the original spare wheel and I want to replace it.
Is the OEM spare wheel identical to the other four wheels?

Yes, it is not a black plain wheel. Matches the aluminum wheels on your car.

For some reason I was thinking the spare was different then the other four wheels. I wanted to make sure so I can finally get the tire pressure dash warning light to turn off.
