Turn off the beep of seatbelt
#2
You can't do it yourself but your Lexus dealer can do it although he/she may first say they can't do it. I always have mine turned off as soon as I get the car. The reminder light will still work.
And you should still use your seatbelt.

Seatbelt Warning
Not sure if it will work on a ES. But this works to turn off the seatbelt chime on my 2007 RX.
1. turn the key to the ON position
2. Press the trip reset button couple of times until the ODO is displayed (not trip A or B)
3. turn the ignition to the LOCK (OFF) position
4. unbuckle the driver's seatbelt if it was buckled.
5. turn the key to the ON position again press the start button twice. when the dash lights comes on, press and hold the trip reset button and count a slow 12 seconds.
6. while still holding the trip reset button, buckle the driver's side seatbelt.
7.odometer display should read "b ON" or "b OFF". toggle the beep OFF with the trip reset.
8. the process should be completed when you unbuckle or turn the key off.

as is
Well, after browsing through all the comments, I guess I will have wear seatbelt as well as everyone in the car before the chime starts getting annoying. I gues I will have to make it become habbit. Thanks, guys.

I was never a fan of wearing seatbelts until you have an accident and you are wearing one. The thought of what would have happened if I did not wear one makes wearing one second nature now. Uncomfortable if it is not connected.

Seat belt
You should always wear your seat belt. It just common sense.
But you do not need to listen to your seat belt chime away. Say if your waiting in your car. Or put something heavy in the passenger seat.

Buckle up! Lots of accidents locally where drivers & passengers were killed because they weren't buckled in and were ejected during crashes. Here in Colorado, the CSP can pull you over & give you a ticket if they can see that you don't have your seat belt on.
