Drivers head Rest
Can anyone tell me how to keep my drivers side headrest to stay down.
I had same trouble with my 2007 ES. My RX stays where I set it.
Maybe theres a way but I have gone thru owners manual and can't find a way.
I set it all the way down and the next time I use my 2011 ES the headrest goes all the way up........
Service can't give me an answer.
Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else have this problem..............
Maybe glue is the answer................................................

This is funny, I had the same problem with my Toyota, and to a lesser degree with the ES. Over the years I've considered duct tape, chicken wire, bubble gum, lead weights. Technically, if you keep your headrest pushed all the way down against the seat like I do, it's the pressure from your back mashing against the seatback that's forcing the headrest up. You could recline the seat a bit so your upper back is not putting so much pressure on the upper seatback, but that kind of driving position has its downsides.

To OP: Do you keep the headrest all the way down usually? - as in, against the top of the seatback? Or do you keep it at one of the notches?
I'm not super tall so I prefer mine all the way down. I've found it seems to make its way up ever so slightly (1/2" or so) but not as far as one of the detents on the posts.
