Need Recommendation for battery for ES 350, 2007
Dealer just told me I need a new battery for my ES 350, 2007.
I'd appreciate any recommendations someone might have as to brand and place to buy...dealer? Sears?, diehard model, any other model?
Thanks.

Put an Interstate battery in my '07 a few weeks ago. Was $116 + tax installed by my local garage. Took all of 15 minutes to do. It was the Megatron model with 800 CCA rating / 7 year warranty. I do not care for the green color but it is hidden under the Lexus plastic sheeting.

I have a Panasonic battery in my ES but I have no experience with them. The best batteries that I have used over the years are Delco batteries. Those Diehards die fast and hard so I would stay away from them.

Costco batteries are made by Johnson Controls (OEM for a lot of brands) and I don't think can be beat for price/performance/warranty.

Sorry to bump this old thread but I will replace my 2007 ES350 battery soon and was curious if anyone had looked into a sport performance option? Also, does anyone know the weight of a standard replacement battery ~ballpark is close enough. I'd like to take a couple pounds off the front end while replacing the battery; seems a low cost option (or no cost considering it already needs to be replaced). I was considering a battery by kinetik Racing:

Thanks for any feed back

I went ahead and ordered this battery off Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product
I can couple it with another of their smaller batteries, If I have to I'll make a solid bus bar to connect two small batteries.(i.e. the 6.6lb one) since the combined width is <7" (the stock size is 6.93")...
From scouring the web I see alot of folks have tried strange combinations of small batteries - one on youtube someone used four CR123 batteries to start their sport bike...
Wish me luck - I'll keep you all posted if it works out.

Panasonic Battery
Still have the original Panasonic battery in my ES 350 and it still works great (6 years old), with absolutely no corrosion on the terminals. I wish I could find the exact same OEM replacement for it.
