Hello everyone. I was wondering if anybody has disabled the seat-belt chime on their 2007 ES350, and if they could pass it along to me? I've tried all of the procedures I've found on the net, but none of them were for my specific car. I wear my seat-belt so please don't tell me "wear your seat-belt"

So Bigearl what are we missing here. If you wear your seat belts then the chime is not chiming , right. So what's the problem.

Just take your car to your dealer and they can disable the chime through the personalized settings - the warning light will still be operational as a reminder but the irritating chime will be gone.

it is annoying when u place a heavy object on the passenger seat. It keeps beeping and u have to put it on the floor or the rear seats instead.

Yes...but could be a good reminder too...not sure if I would want to disable this feature...

This was beaten to death on this forum.
Do some searching and you'll find several long threads.
There is a hack for Lexus IS and RX, and many Toyotas.
Instructions for those can be easily found around.
That hack apparently DOES NOT work for 2007-2009 ES350.
Anybody cares to try it for 2010?
