ES350, a cellphone, and Bluetooth -- not working
i recently connected my mom's cellphone (Samsung SCH-A950 Verizon) to her ES350, they both sync'd and everything, but there seems to be a peculiar problem...
i can't hear the other person
i tested this at home with my mom standing outside, and me sitting inside the car, she said she heard me fine. when she speaks though, i can't hear anything inside the car.
the manual isn't of any help.... does anybody know how i can fix this?

I had a somewhat similar problem when I first got my ES350 although it was imtermittent and lasted for several months without a real solution other than to re-pair the phone each time it happened. Then one day the phone (a pretty new Samsung) quit working and had to be replaced. The problem never happened again - 15 mos. now. Have you tried setting up the connection with a different phone?

well what baffled me is that no one has ever touched the bluetooth function until two days ago. i paired the phone for the first time and it did not work. re-pairing it did not work.
i tried pairing it with my own cellphone which is another samsung of a different model (still verizon), and it still did not work.
the volume was at mid by default, i put it up, nothing.
i pressed mute, i think it activated mute, which of course would make everything still silent. i press it again to turn it off, still silent.
i just don't know what to do short of going to the dealer and seeing their confused looks.

The A950 is listed as not compatible. Everything is listed as no!

PAUL,
The compatibility list is not complete. There are multitude of cell phones out there and not all of them are tested for blue tooth compatibility. My cell phone works with the ES even though it's not on the list.
You can also pair a second phone to the car. As I paired both my wife's phone and my own phone to the ES.
