Successful 1992 ES300 Spark Plug Change
I passed on doing the job myself the first time. I had heard that you had to remove or loosen the intake manifold to do the job. Had more time than money this time and thanks to this forum, I was given the courage to give it a try.
Took about 2.5 hours. The first 5 were relatively easy. The 6th took forever... much cussing and crawling on the engine for leverage. This is one time being relatively small is an advantage!
I took a couple of snapshots during the job because I didn't see any previous to this.
Will post them later tonight (gotta go wash the car! )

p.s. tools required - torque wrench, anti-sieze compound, spark plug gap/adjusting tool, 5/8ths spark plug wobbly socket - short and long extensions, universal joint and ratcheting wrench.

after loosening a few hoses and moving stuff around slightly for access - the far right or drivers side rear plug can be accessed. I actually crawled on top of my engine to get at it and went straight in from the top to get the socket in. I had an easier time removing the plug wire from the side.
The pic shows how tight things are...

Yea, let's bring this thread back from the dead! For all those second gen owners that keep complaing about not being able to find the rear plugs or how you think it's impossible to do (like myself ). Let's hope the 'newbies' can use this information as much as I did without trying to post a new thread.
