Clanking noise coming from underneath vehicle
After the vehicle was turned off, I stepped out and heard a clanking noise.
I couldnt see anything but here is the noise [ignore me and my brother talking]
I just bought the car, and am curious as to what it is...
Another noise its making, possibly related, is a crawling/scratching noise coming from behind the dash. If I had to guess, Id say something with the AC... maybe the heater air mix servo possibly making some racket.
Any info on these noises is beneficial. Thank you.

Sounds like the exhaust contracting as it cools off this is normal, although it does sound pretty loud but that could be the camera magnifying the noise.

It definitely sounds louder in the video than it seemed standing up, outside the vehicle. I essentially put the camera right up in it.
Ive heard cars do stuff like this.. where they kinda simmer after turning them off... Exhaust contracting would make sense.

someone will have replaced an exhaust pipe not to long ago, it's contracting at a different rate to the older parts, which is why the noise is so loud. If you've ever owned a brand new car .. or a car that's had an new aftermarket exhaust ... yep kinda noisey for a while.
