Default 1998 Lexus ES300 Bottoms Out...Springs?

My 1998 ES300 has about 265,000 miles on it but runs GREAT. The only problem I have it that it is getting lower and lower and it bottoms out when going over almost any bump. I am assuming it is the rear springs and not struts. Is this a correct assumption? What are the best springs for this car to get is running high again and to stop bottoming out?

Are your struts seized?

If you are to replace the springs, you might as well replace the struts and strut mounts.

I have no idea if they are seized or not. I've never had the suspension system replaced so i might as well replace everything like you said.

I would just replace everything with quick struts, I personally went with KYBs and regret not getting the quickstrut as the struts were new but I had to buy everything else individually and it was a lot more in labor

265K is definitely mileage for new springs.

If you bottom out you probably need the struts too, that is a classic sign of strut/shock failure.

The dilemma you are going to have in replacing suspension...the aftermarket stuff is junk that will last maybe 50k miles and it will not ride nearly as good as the stock stuff originally did, and the stock parts are very expensive but will last as long as your original stuff did so if not another 265k at least another 150k. Think how long you will keep the car and how much you like that Lexus ride before you make the choice.
