Advice on how to keep 1998 es300 running like new
Hi guys. i have a 1998 es300, bought it with 70,000 mile in mint condition. Now it had 83,000 miles still mint but not showroom condition like it was. This was the first year the car ever saw snow.
I do alot of driving with it right now, i work at a pizza place delivering pizzas. Should i buy a cheap car for like $1000 or so and keep save the Lexus, or should i drive it and save $$$$ and rack up the miles and wear and tear?
I would appreciate any and all advice, suggestions , any and all help,
Thank you

ES300s are fairly reliable. My 97 ES hit +280k miles before the rear main seal went.
If maintained as per maintenance schedule, you have not much to worry about.

Using a 98 ES 300 to deliver Pizzas doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
Pizza delivery, with its constant stop and go driving is probably the worst conditions you can put a car under. If you can afford it, get a winter beater and use that instead.
Keep your Lexus for off work driving.

Your Lexus will be fine. You'll just run the miles up on it. I use a 4 cylinder 2000 Camry to deliver papers because it gets beat up and dirty. I use my 99 ES for everything else.
If delivering pizzas is a long term gig for you, I'd do what I did. If you are doing it short term, use your Lexus.
In case you didn't know, a ES is basically a luxury 6 cylinder Camry. Both will run 200,000 miles easy.

My 98 ES300 went to 343K miles before I got rear ended and the insurance company totalled it.
Engine was still in great condition and I could have gotten another 100K miles or more.
Just keep up with the regular maintenance.
