Key for my lexus s300 2002!
Hello! I post this topic to need some help. I have only one key for my car. I need a duplicate key in emergency case, when i ask for lexus dealer for a new key. It's very expensive. I see information here and i think i will buy online. But i don't know what i need to do, step by step, Can you help me?
I see "pre cut"... i don't understand
I posted my picture, i bought a used car, so i don't have key code. I saw 5 numbers in my door. But i don't know is it a key code.
Please help me what to do, step by step. and what i need to talk to key producer like 1010keys on eBay or someone else

The precut keys are only good if you have another key to take the guts out of.
That means you will still need the remote that's inside the key to put into the new cut key.
You need a entire new key and remote which I think are only available from the dealer.

Complete key is available on Ebay
Greetings:
A complete master key with the transmitter to open the doors and the trunk can be purchased on Ebay for $29.95. The key must be cut and programmed. Some sellers will cut the key from a picture of your key if you don't have the key code. The transponder and the transmitter in the key can both be programmed in your car. It is really that simple. Unless you want to throw money away, I recommend avoiding the dealer for any key matters as long as you have one master key.

Greetings Ferrusco,
There are two programming operations for the three button key. One is the three button TRANSMITTER, the other, which starts the car, is a TRANSPONDER. It appears that your transponder needs to be programmed. If you have a key, other than the valet key, that will start the car, programming is easy. If you do not have a known good master key, you may be at the mercy of the dealer. With a known good master key you can find the programming instructions for a new cut key online in several places. One of them is here:
http://www.keymam.com/ru/news_view.asp?newsid=58
You will see that the programming instructions differ for different year and model Lexus. I purchased some keys on Ebay which the seller cut from a picture of my master key. I was able to easily program them.
Good luck,
Vic
