Exhaust flex-pipe y-pipe cat BOLTS
Hello,
To save my the trouble of having to get into my project before I have all the parts, does anyone know what size bolts are used to hold the exhaust y/flex/cat pipe together both at the y and at the cat? Are they hardened or special in any way?
Thanks !

M8 = 8mm diameter.
nah, they're just a plain old stainless steel nut and bolt. they should be totally re-usable. (unless rusted beyond re-use. You can just use any old nut and bolt that fit properly.

Should be M8 diameter STUDS, take a 14mm socket.
Don't think so. Those nuts are NOT stainless (stainless hardware will gall and seize together in that application), and they are NOT intended to be reused.

Well one of those studs broke off in the flange going to work on it again tomorrow. Going to try drilling and using an easy out. that was the front one. The rear one (rear bank Side of the y I mean) had nuts welded onto one side and a bolt in the other. One of thos broke too.
I purchased HARDENED bolts. Should I return them? Also if I can get that stud out I am going to replace it. Probly m8x1.25. If not I'll drill it large weld a nut on one side
