I did some research and others that had the same internal beep noise changed out their battery and it went away so that is what we did. There was some acid and water on the metal plate under the battery and it was rather old. We cleaned up the tray and wiped down every thing around it and looked under the plate to make sure it wasn't corroded through.

After we replaced the battery, the beeping just stopped. I drove it aggressively yesterday and my hubby drove it today for a bit doing quick turns and stop / starts. No beeping but he recorded his zero to sixty time as 6.5 seconds. Still pretty amazing. Another guy on the forum said it was most likely the low altitude and the cold front we are having that gives it a boost right now. Whatever it is, it's fun.
