Default 1993 ES300 FMV - blown engine

I have a 1993 ES300, 386K miles, that ran great for me for many years. However the engine is now blown and I have decided to give it to charity. It has cracked windshield and driver's seat has some cracked leather, some red guage displays don't light up, but it always ran great and gave me little problems until now. The tires are almost new including a spare with almost no mileage.

My question is this: what is the fair market value of such a machine. I assume it will be used for parts but I really don't know. Thought those of you on this forum might be able to suggest what someone might buy it for.

Thanks.

Wow, hope mine makes it that far. How many of those miles did you put on her?

Default Bought her new.

Those are 386K of original owner miles. Really she was a great car. Believe it or not I never had to touch the engine or transmission. Just the normal maintenance and a few other repairs. I think the most expensive was the AC went out and it cost me 2K. But other than that it was tires, brakes, water pump, timing belts, oil and tran changes, etc. I can't complain at all.

$300-$500 in the private market, a bit less if you sell it to a salvage yard. If the tires are nearly new then put some scrap wheels/rubber on the car and sell the tires separately.
