Default 2002 ES300 won't start and can't jump

Hi everybody,
My 2002 ES300 had a weird problem lately... 1st start, I can start the car and it run/drive very good. 2nd start, start fine and run/drive good but for the 3rd or 4th times, car can't start. Even jump start can't start the car either. This is in a short period of time like go to the post office, turn off the car...go out start the car and go in for coffee, turn off and go out, start the car again... In order to start the car again, I have to wait for about an hour later. After an hour wait, the car start fine... I check the starter/charge system/crank system, everything fine. I even put in a new battery but the problem still occurs. I have no clue what wrong and can't figure out
Anyone has the same problem?
Thanks for all the help!

You didn't state on the 3rd n 4th when you attempt to start the car.
1. Does the engine rotate or silent when starting the car on 3rd n 4th try.
2. 3rd n 4th start do you hear the click when trying to start.

On the 3rd or 4th time, the engine not turn over, silent. All I heard is a humming noise. At that time, the lights and radio work fine. Even the window work too... And the new battery I put in has 800 CCA so I don't think is the battery problem.
Thanks for helping!

Next time that happens, tap the starter, with a broom stick, other end of a hammer, or something similar, tap it relatively hard, but not too hard. Try that a few times.

See if the car will than start. If it starts, than its your starter. If it doesn't its inconclusive.

It could be the relay, or the solomoid, but most likely it is the starter.

Did you try what I suggested in my reply above, namely to bang on the starter a few times?

Phil

it could be your battery terminal i had this same problem which i thought was the starter...come to find out it was just my negative battery wire wasnt tightly on the battery terminal. got a bolt and nut and tightened the dam thing and it starts right up everytime now.

For all those car guys out their your car needs a higher voltage than 12v and the alternator is what gives it that instant extra voltage! Starting the car does were on the alternator and if its not keeping the system up then even testing the battery at 11volts wont start the car. Banging on the starter is a good idea and does work when the vehicle is sounding like its actually trying to turn over but the throw out centrifugal gear thats stuck! Check the alternator
