ES Bodykit for $1595.95
sorry if someone had posted this already, but this Tsunami's bodykit looks great. The picture is definitely from a Vanity kit, so I don't know if there is a relationship between Vanity and Tsunami or not. I have asked the sales staff @ Tsunami, and they said the kits are of the same. These kits are available from dealers across the US. Unfortunately I'm from Canada, and shipping is $320! I'm trying to get the kit off the only Canadian Tsunami dealer in Calgary. What do you guys think?

That is a great kit and available in the states without importing from Japan...or I may be wrong. What I'm trying to say is that it seem much more easier to obtain than others. Check out this link to various kits for the ES, lemme know what yall think...if you haven't already seen it....http://www.gtautosports.com/esaero.htm
there's even a wide body kit for the ES, I'll post the PICS up later.

Special Promotional Pricing
Hi guys,
The kit is made in the USA. I called Tsunami today and talked to a sales rep by the name of Auggie. He told me that they make these body kits for Vanity and export to Japan. Only recently that they started to sell them in the States. Auggie told me from now until the end of March, the special promotional price is $1200.00 U$. Sounds good???? I'm thinking of ordering a kit at the beginning of March and have it shipped to my cousin in St. Joseph, MI. I will save $146.00 U$ and have it installed there.
I'm still skeptical about these guys. Is there any way I can check them out to see if they are for real?
Baby Lex: The link you have is seen by most of us, but everybody knows that it's a DEAD link! Sorry....

Maybe you could see if we could get some kind of group discount on these? I'd definetly be interested in picking one up especially if we could get a good group buy going. Let me know

skperformance: I'm in Toronto too!!! Where is your store? I was going to buy the kit and have it deliver to my cousin in Michigan, but if you can hook up with Tsunami, then I don't have to go far. You mentioned GT has better kit. but are they for 92-96 models?
I have a 92 ES

Spend $1200 on a kit from a company you've never heard of????
The Tsunami kit looks good from the front and sides, I'm not really feeling the rear end. The spoiler is hideous (is it included with the kit?)
I'm sure at least 7 or 8 people on CL would be interested in a group buy body kit (inluding myself), but considering one can get full body kits for most cars (including the GS) in the sub $500 range, we should at least negotiate the price down to $600 or $700.
I think we should figure the following out:
1. What parts are included in the KIT.
2. Verify if Tsunami is a reputable and high quality manufacturer as it claims to be.
3. PRICE$$$$$+shipping with group buy
4. WHO WANTS ONE?????

XenonES3:
1. The kit does not include the spoiler
2. From what I heard, (keep in mind this is from Tsunami salesperson so anything goes) Tsunami produces high quality Aerodynamic parts for Japan. The Vanity kit that is seen from GT by most of us is produced by Tsunami. But again, this is not to say that they are reputable. I did a research and found that most dealers who carried manufacturers such as West Wing, VeilSide, Andy's Autosport etc... also carry Tsunami. You can check out www.aerotrends.com.
3. The marked price on the website was $1595.95 U$, but Auggie (Tsunami's sales rep) called me and gave me the special promotional price of $1200.00. I told him that I have put up a post and many people would be interested, but he didn't seem to be interested in reducing the price for a group buy. Shipping depends. It would cost me $320.00 to ship to Canada or $176.00 to St. Joseph, MI (where my cousin lives).
4. I did not intend to organize a group buy, for one thing I don't know how to go about it, and also I'm in Canada.

"one can get full body kits for most cars (including the GS) in the sub $500 range"
be careful as well that bodykits in that price range are either "mock up" or made from cheap fiberglass. Ask any bodyshop guys and they'll tell you how hard it is to work with cheap, thin fiberglass!
