Anybody have any idea what the part number for this piece is?
I was replacing the rear sway bar bushings on my 97 es300 and one thing led to another and now I need a new piece. I have no idea what it is called and the number on the part does not yield any results. It is the part that the rear sway bar bushing bracket attaches to.
To give you an idea.. it is what part 48832A gets screwed into: http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...S300-1997.html
Also, I attached an image of the right piece that I took a picture of (I'm looking for the left).
Thanks!

I have no idea what that part would be called, but I had to replace the same thing when I tried to lower the swaybar...
Your best bet is to retrieve that part from the junkyard.. Just try not to snap the screws..
Camrys and avalons use that same "bracket".
I believe I only paid no more than $6 dollars for it..

I snapped two bolts on my one! Just a Pita, I drilled and re-tapped one of mine and made one other hole 10mm. ( iirc ) Otherwise best bet as above junk yard!

I snapped 1 bolt on the left and 1 on the right one. I was able to drill it out the right bolt but drilling it out the left bolt was a little harder and ended up drilling through to the piece at one side. I was able to use the piece still but I'd rather have an extra of the piece around in case it does fail on me.
Would I have to bring tools to a junkyard to grab the piece myself or would the junkyard already have it taken out?
Just to clarify how the hole in the piece looks now, I attached a depiction of it. What do you guys think about its integrity compared to fresh piece. It definitely won't break from flexing but how well will the bolt hold into it?

I've never been to a junk yard, but I'm gonna guess that this piece would still be attached to the car and you would need your own tools. From what I've seen, there aren't a lot of "pick n pull" yards out there, at least in my area. Most of them work like retailers, where they salvage anything valuable off the car and then stock their shelves.
I snapped one of those bolts once. Luckily, I was able to drill it out without any collateral damage, while having the piece still on the car.
