What part am I missing?
Can anyone tell me (part number, preferably) what plastic molding piece is missing between my radiator and the hood latch? It's a 2000 ES, and I've seen different pix where some people have it and some people don't. It looks like it actually comes down in front of the radiator and hood latch. I know it's strictly for looks, but I can't seem to locate it on any parts diagram (Sewell included). Any help would be appreciated!

Yeah, I do see it now, though in the drawings it's at a funky angle and doesn't exactly look like that. Expensive, too. Looks like it's eBay for me!

FYI there is a different part number if you have HID option vs the base Halogen headlights. I think they are interchangeable the base version has holes you can see the levels to adjust the headlights with, but I had no problems with putting that part back on when I swapped the OEM HIDs on my car.
I wonder if this part is functional or dress up, our engine room is pretty basic but look at any newer lexus covered in plastic trim to hide the engine. The Camry does not have a cover like this over the radiator support.

its just sad when you open the hood of newer lexus and find it all covered up so you immediately close the hood. However i was looking at my friends same year some Audis he has and mann you just want to stare @ the engine bay for sometime. They look and are solid build. And no plastic covers flooded all over. I guess it has to do with the type of cars and the owners. So it makes sense that way

Audi's were the most notorious for "cover ups" with their cars... Not sure what the hell you're looking at.
Here's a 98 a4 v6; the 1.8t is even worse...
