Update
Update,
If you have a rough teenager or an moronic friend or family member that like to be rough on the seat these leathers are very delicate.
My son's friend decide to step on the seat and push off abruptly to get into the back seat area and put a tear in the leather. Oh the joy.
Just for the heck of it I asked the company how much for just the bottom. Amazingly they sent me a replacement for FREE including shipping, WOW
I do notice a bit of shrinkage so definitely use a Window Shade if you park in the sun.
Cheers,
Jim

Another thanks for your post efforts. I am considering reconditioning vs. recovering the fronts in ours this year (dirty and worn but no tears). This is valuable information in helping me decide.

Heated Seats Install
Just to add to this thread, for anyone wanting to know how to install heated seats in your car (if your Lexus didn't come with that option or you want to install them in the rear), I made a short video on how I added them to my Solara:

Well the heated seats have been in for over a week now and I can say they're awesome. They take a bit longer to warm up than the stock seat heaters in my ES330, but when they warm up, they're much warmer. The only thing I would have wished for is a larger pad that could better warm the thigh area towards the front edge of the seat cushion, and maybe even the side bolsters.

ES300 seat disassembly
For anyone wondering how to disassemble a 3ES (1997-2001) seat, check out this video where I retrofitted an ES300 seat in my Solara:
