98 ES300 LED dash mod
Hey everyone. I'm new here and this is my first post. I have search for almost 2 hours on CL for this answer and have only found answers for 96 and earlier model ES and only for the guage the cluster. If the answer is there please just point me to the thread and I will greatly appreciate it. If not, any info would be great and please forgive me.
I have a 98 ES300 with maybe 2 blown dash bulbs. I would like to go with blue LEDs. The boring green just looks so outdated and I have to replace bulbs anyway. I don't want to do just the gauge cluster. I mean climate control, window switches, indicator bulbs (for A/C and Recirc), gear shift, door locks, mirror control. I mean everything. I can't figure out what bulbs these call for.
My friend has done this with his WRX and I know the window switches are the same because of Subaru and Toyotas collaboration so I know I can get those. Holy crap it looks GREAT!!! Also, I know Toyota/Lexus is better than that (making you buy a whole new part just to fix the light). I also want everything to match the new head unit. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!!
