Upgrading My 2005 Es 330
I'm a racy teenager in highschool. All my friends have the boosted hondas and mazdas. I beat them in our petty races but being in a moderately rich family and I want something faster. I cant buy a new car so my next option is upgrading it. What high quality exhausts and whatnot would ya'll suggest I do? Also, should I get new rims at my lexus dealer or at a local body shop?

I don't want to give you the appreciate what you have speech. But, seriously dude, you are driving a frickin' Lexus ES and you want a damn Civic (that will likely be much slower)... That's just wrong.

Im just looking for something that will increase the power a little bit like a performance exhaust but not something cheap sounding. I'm not saying I want a super car but I want to make my nice Lexus even nicer.

Acura TL..
I agree.. Your car is nice, but you can get a TL and forgo all of the modifications initially as it's already tuned for speed. You also get a lot more kit options when you do decide to increase the speed of the TL.

well ES arent meant to be a racy cars at the first place... but if you want something racy, sell it and get yourself something sporty, TL is a good choice, i personally like that car, or you can get G35, like 2003-4 is pretty cheap...

Again, I'm not looking for camaro zl1 fast. I just want to up the performance a bit and the aesthetics Like I guess a performance chip or a nice dual exhaust? Any help or suggestions BESIDES buying a new car would be helpful. And I guess any tips on changing my halogen lights into some halos?

How many miles do you have on your ES330? Maybe it just needs a tuneup to make it more responsive. Change the spark plugs, clean the throttle body, switch to synthetic oils, use a higher octane gasoline, add a NOS tank, etc...
Also reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery so the car can relearn your driving habits. I found my 05 ES330's transmission extremely lazy to downshift, perhaps because it was an older fellow who owned it before and trained it to keep the engine below 2000RPMs.
Check out some of carID's halo headlights:

You can also upgrade to 19" rims, tint the windows, chrome out the door pillars, ad a trunk lip/spoiler, and perhaps some LED lighting to make the car yours.

Sure you can add an air intake and exhaust, and lower it a bit. I don't know if you'd notice much difference.

About how much would it cost to put in a cold air intake or lower the car or at least where would I go to get that done? It has about 100k+ miles and I'm still a little new to car parts and seriously. NOS?
Those halos do look nice but my halogens are pretty good. Is there really that much of a difference? Any rim suggestions? And any lip suggestions? A spoiler would just ruin the car to me.

Yes Brad, you should be happy with what you have, a car that is nicer than what 99% of other highschoolers have. Understand that the performance potential is limited for the car - enjoy it for what it is.

As far as wheels go, there's nothing the dealership will do except offer to sell you OEM wheels at an outrageous price (400+), or acquire the wheels for you at a higher price. Stick with TireRack, and thank Mom and Dad for hooking you up.
