Stock radio
Radio went out on our 96 ES300. Checked all the fuses and they're fine. What's next? I'd like to remove stereo to inspect plug in the back but not sure how it's done. Is there fuse in the back also?

Cant really add anything to help,
But when/if you pull it out to check the plugs, use a multimeter and see if you're getting +12v on the power line for the headunit. Cause after i pulled mine out and installed my carPC, the line was working in reverse, as in when the car was off, it would give power, but turned on there was no power, and my headunit didnt work anymore.
I found it really strange considering i hadnt touched any factory wiring at that point, and i cant find anyone else thats had a similar thing happen.

It's possible it has a fuse internally or an open air coil. Either way, it's really not worth fixing. Now is the time to go aftermarket. I installed a Pioneer in-dash nav system. Replaced the speakers as well. Sounds so much better....
