Hey guys. I have a 1997 Lexus es 300. I just replaced my transmission a month ago. Everything in the car is working fine now, but sometimes when I drive the whole car will shake. I know its the motor mounts thats causing this to happen. I was wondering if anyone has ever changed their own motor mounts themselves. I need the bottom motor mount and the front bottom ones replaced. My step dad says he can change the mounts but dont you have to prob up the transmission to get to the mounts? Im not trying to mess up my engine or my step dad. So I was wondering if anyone dealt with the motor mount issues before and what did you do and what do you suggest??? Thanks

I too need to change my rear bottom mount.
It's the hardest one to change. Are you sure its the bottom?
Also how many miles?

Yeah I'm pretty sure its the bottom one. And I have 230,000 miles on the car.

anybody know the specs for the bolt that goes in the middle? seems my car didnt come with one when i bought it used
