What sets the alarm off on the 2ES?
Ive had my car for over 7 years and last night was the first time ive ever heard the alarm go off on its own. The only other time was when i was inside the car and accidentally pressed the keyless lock button which activated the alarm and then i opened the door from the inside. The alarm went off that time.
Since then ive never heard it go off and i assumed it just doesnt work anymore, or that it requires the glass to be broken or something severe like that. Last night i heard a car alarm outside and to my surprise it was my car, lights flashing and horn honking... I deactivated the alarm and found no evidence of anything/anyone setting it off.
Today i tried to intentionally set the alarm off by pounding on the doors, pounding on the hood, sitting on the trunk, and pulling on the door handles... to no avail. So what does our alarm respond to, and what could have caused it to go off, considering that my experiment this morning proved that the alarm isnt all that sensitive?
