How can I add front legroom by moving the seat?
I'm 6'2" and the 2ES isnt very roomy. In fact, it's pretty uncomfortable. This became even more evident to me after I drove my father-in-law's 2011 Sonata, which according to mfg specs, has 2 inches more front legroom. I never have passengers in the back so im not concerened about the legroom in the back. I would like to move the entire seat back about 2 inches (while maintaining the power seat function of course).
From this picture that i found from another thread, i see the 4 bolts that hold the front seats. Is there a way to move the bolts or bolt holes, or add some sort of extension rail to move the front seats back 2 inches or so? I'll probably only do this to the drivers seat.
Thanks.

Doing it while maintaining safety standards? Gonna be tough. Good luck man. I'm 6'4" and I ride with a lot of recline in my 3ES...In every automobile I get in.. I eventually got used to the fact everything in this world is made for people of average height.

Sounds pretty ghetto to me.
Ever thought of just buying a larger car?

Are you in the "proper" seating position?
My friend is 6'5" ex-varsity basketball player and he has no problem driving most small vehicles. His first car was an old (late 80s) second gen VW Jetta....
Hack, he even drove my MR2 with no issue.
