turns out that the car that the strut bar came from had been in a front end collision so the bar was bent. gona go pick up a different one tomorrow and see if that one is any good.

i was afraid that the hood was going to bulge but there is no noticeable difference with the bar installed. it does hit the insulation a bit and it takes just a bit more force to close the hood but thats about it. plus it does make the car feel a bit more stiffer and the steering much more tighter. just goin to paint it silver and ill be done.

Hi Guys, i have been thinking alot about doing this on my car...
wanted to get some advice,
its been a year since this post, do u still have any hood issues?
any idea what tools i may need (do i need a torque or breaker bar?) to install this?
how is the ride after installing this? do we lose some of the "luxury" ? my struts are old and my car has over 200k km. i want to get this partially for better handling on the road...and for making sure my cars body stays a bit stiff.....
any advice would be greatly appreciated!
