Hello guys. I am getting ready to change all 4 struts. My question is what else should I change since my car is 252k miles and still running on original suspension. I believe many people on here said that springs don't need to be changed, is that correct? Do they last the lifetime of the car?

make sure to get new strut mounts as well (all 4 corners), 2 new bearings (for fronts only - goes between the top of the strut and strut mount), new upper and lower spring isolators (eliminates the possible metal to metal contact of the spring and strut......

You may want to replace the springs. How does your car ride, does it sag down low? Alot of times cars that carry alot of passengers and stuff in the rear will have worn out rear spings. Im getting ready to replace my suspension in the next few months as well, and the rear springs are totally worn out from the previous owner(s) overloading rear of car.

Yes the rear does sag down when i have passengers. I thought about changing it but I saw a lot of people on here that said changing the springs wasn't necessary unless u want to lower it, which I dont. Are you getting oem springs?

Your rear end will always be lower if you have passengers. The ES springs are very soft from the factory so even if you get new springs, the difference is not really noticeable. If your rear end is sagging without passengers or anything else in the trunk, then your springs will probably need to be replaced.
