I just had my transmission rebuilt (for just over $1300, in case anyone was wondering)..

I don't know if it is something the mechanic did, but when I hit the brights, they do not come on. They are NOT burnt out. The blue bright indicator light does not even come on on the dash. However, when I flick the brights, the fog lights DO go off (like the should when the brights are on)..

Any suggestions?

I'd check the fuses, then start with the wiring. Make sure the high beam bulbs are not disconnected, and then follow the wires back; making sure no harnesses were left disconnected when your tranny was removed. If everything checks out then it's probably your switch.

check the DRL, it is on? If it is, then all wires are connected properly and most likely it is the relay.

Any posts out there on how to replace the relay?! I've searched a bit and cannot find anything. Thanks!
