Replace bulb warning light on instrument panel
I have a 98 Lexus ES300, and the replace bulb warning light on the instrument panel is on, but all light bulbs are working. Is this a big problem (i.e., electrical)? Thanks in advance!

That light is triggered when the computer senses that not enough watts are being pulled, I had that problem when I switched my third brake light to the GS300 LED strip. My fix was a resistor, I would double check all of your bulbs. If need be, remove each bulb, clean the surface, replace bulb.

Thanks for the advice zajac, greatly appreciate it.
Let me add that the warning light only comes on when I turn on the headlamps. When the headlamps are off and the daytime running lights are on (my car is the Canadian version), the warning light doesn't come on. I was thinking it could be a blown fuse, but hopefully it's not a big electrical problem that will cause me more trouble in the future.

I did, but the headlights work perfectly, highbeams included. Some dude just rammed into my car last week, and the whole front headlights/signal lights have been replaced. The warning light pops up only when I turn on the headlights, so I'm guessing it could be a dirty bulb, or a bulb that's going to burn out, in the brake light unit. Does this sound like a faulty/broken wire in the electrical system? Or am I just scaring myself?

No, not the "brake" bulbs, the rear "parking" light bulbs. On my old '92 Camry, I've had both brake AND parking lights out (dual filiment bulbs). The waring light will come one when a brake light is out, only after you hit the brakes. BUT, when I had the parking light bulb out, the warning light would come on as soon as headlights are turned on (as the parking lights come on with the headlights). Not 100% sure it works the same way on your car, but check it out.

I too have this problem US-version 98 ES. All of my bulbs work fine. The damn light has been on for nearly 2 yrs. Is there some sort of combination of buttons to press or something to get rid of the light?

Ok so I inspected thoroughly last night several times, and I'm an idiot. I do have a light out...you can barely tell though. Its that little tiny 194 bulb on the edge of the taillight on my driver's side. It took me forever to see that the passenger side was ever soo slightly lighting up more than the other side.
