1996 ES300 Parking lights always on?
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum... Kicking it off with a bang lol. But anyways, last night I realized that even after I turned off my car, my parking lights remained on. I went back to it to make sure i had clicked the light switch all the way to the off position, but no luck. I've tried removing all of the fuses related to them that I can find, including the Dome fuse (#20 in owner's manual, in the engine compartment fuse box) as well as fuse #12 in the fuse box on the driver's side interior... I have to now unhook my battery every time I leave my car for any amount of time, and was wondering what else it could be... I searched all night last night and found a few threads in forums pertaining to it maybe being a relay, or some even mentioned a bad seal in the windshield? Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm losing it having to hook/unhook the battery every time I park. I've been browsing this forum since I got the car two years ago, and you all seem to really know your stuff and get problems solved fast, so I'd much rather turn to you guys first before calling Lexus...

Good chance it;s the Integration Relay on the front of the fuse block. It controls the car's lighting, and if something in it shorts, it could result in what happened to you. I shorted mine doing custom work and the dome light stopped working.
There are several different kinds, and you need t get the one with the same part number. The ebay link below is what it looks like. But like I said, you need to make sure yours has the same part #.
Hope this helps.

Well, the lights went off on their own today, so I'm guessing that it was probably just moisture buildup in the relay... Thanks for the help, that'll be my first step to take if this happens again!
