Default Tip About the Headlight Instrument Cluster

I have a 97 ES300, and the headlight indicator light on my instrument cluster went out recently. This is the little green light bulb that comes on when your headlights are on. After getting my starter replaced, which I was already having a problem with, the green indicator bulb was working again. I'm not sure if this was a indirect fix for the malfunctioning of the bulb, but it certainly saved me the time and trouble of having to open up the instrument cluster and searching for a replacement bulb. Sorry for the blurry image.

The little twist in bulbs can lose contact sometimes - cheap fix is to whap the area with the heel of you hand. It probably got jarred while they were working on it.

The light went out again. Guess the new starter had nothing to do with it. Will try your method.
