Hi guys.

I was installing my sound system and doing a few thing to my baby and forgot to disconnect the battery terminal.

Now the airbag light is on constantly... is there a way to turn it off??.... i ask the lexus people and it going to cost me $50 unofficially.

is there a way this can be done ???

Can't you remove the battery connection for like 30 seconds? I thought that turned it off...

The question here is what wires did you tap into. The only way the light would come on is if you disconnected an airbag component with the batt still connected, or if you wired into the airbag circuit, which is a NO NO.

did you tapped into any wires that are bright yellow or have a bright yellow sheathing over them?

I was installing my sound system and now I have a permanent Airbag light on.
I tried disconnecting the battery terminal for sometime but when reconnect, the light still goes back on.

There another thread here which shows you how to get it done manually but the instructions was not very clear .... ie. where to connect, what wires size to use ...etc.

Anyone done it before please assist.

You must first find out why the light came on. Did you tap into any wires under ther dash?

i pulled the bulb out from behind it
