Checking Engine Codes on OBD1
Hi everyone! I searched but can't find the answer. How do you check the codes on a 1992 Lexus ES300? So far, I got this:
Is that correct? Also, where do I find a list of the what the codes mean once I get it from the ECU? Thanks!
"To find out the problem source of the Check Engine Light:
Make your the engine is at operating temperature & shut it off.
Get a jumper wire, and at the diagnosis modeul (engine compartment, near the drivers side strut) Connect the "E1" & "T" terminals.
Turn the ignition to "On", do not start. The engine light will blink a code.
Tell me that code, and I'll tell you what to look for."
