Default Need help how to pull ECU codes

Where can I find the "how-to" for pulling the engine ECM/ECU codes for the LS400? Since I have a 1990, the how-to for that year would be nice.

I have searched and searched for hours and now that my eyeballs are hurting, I hope someone can help me find the "how-to" and the meaning for each code. All I have found so far is just other people saying to search or others saying to jump the two terminals (I already forgot which ones, and even if I knew, I won't know what the codes meant or even how to decipher it).

Since it seems as if others keep asking for the how-to, can someone post a link or the actual how-to?

What does a constant blinking Check Engine light translate to?
Does it mean "everything is a-okay" and No Code, or
Does it mean ECM malfunction?

It means you have no codes stored, normal.
