Which Coilovers For 97-01 ES300?
ok every1... i finally have decided to just go with coilovers, but im stuck with which one to go with!
im reallying looking for ride quality/comfort > handling > durability/built quality, basically i want to have a smooth, comfortable ride, but a nice/slammed look!
and for those who i pm'd/quoted for many questions i have asked, thanks for everything; for all the responses/replies... i really appreciate it!

JIC has my vote ...but I'm a little biased since I am running them right now. I have the older FLT-A1 with 5 way adjustable dampers. The newer version has 10 way adjustable dampers so that is a definite plus. I would imagine the tein ss would be more comfortable and not as stiff as the JIC, so I would go for those. Give me a ride in your car if you do get them...If they ride softer than the JIC, then I just might pick up a set. I had a bad experience with Ksport so I really would not go that route. Shell out an extra 200-300 and you can pick up the JIC from Carson Toyota.

Just read great things about them on my Legacy board...they do make them for the 3rd gen ES?

Wrd...tein flex suspension are really comfortable to daily drive but sometimes I find it a bit too soft even with the damper set full stiff. I don't think tein makes anything for the vcv10 chasis - they only made the tein ss for the mcv20 chasis (97-01 ES300). With your 96 ES, I think you're limited to either d2 or ksport coilovers. Good news is that they make alot more kits for your car than other generation es300's

right on. i hope you get that kit. i wanna see other cars besides the demo vehicles. im going to probably go with the signature for my next vcv10 project.
oh and about the coilover thing, has no one else noticed that disruption about JIC not really being JIC? if you search around, im sure youll find it.i always believed that JIC was top notch, but i have been slightly swayed on their company now. tein is always a good choice, but only if they offer pillowball mounts and camber plates. ksports are really stiff, almost no matter how low of a setting you have it at, but i personally like it.
Goodluck
