what a great little beast! quality car!!

however, I wouldn't mind putting down some money to improve the suspension ride quality.

I am rolling on 18" run flats for full disclosure

will a complete swap out to coilovers totally improve the suspension quality ? thoughts ?

....I don't have coilovers, but do know they will improve the ride. The coilovers will be adjustable, which will allow you to set the height & firmness of the ride to your liking. The run flats are probably a big issue to your ride quality also, most here have got rid of ours and moved on to "conventional" tires. There are other ways to help with the ride also, look into new bushings, tie rods, etc......try to do a search here and you'll get a lot more info than I can provide

but it does matter.

the first thing you should do is replace the tires with a good quality tire like the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 Plus and an alignment.

if your still not satisfied change the shocks, not necessarily coilovers unless you want a firm ride...
