i would like to turbocharge my 92' ES300. i've looked around and haven't really found anything of the sort for an ES300. if anyone knows if it is possible to do, and if so, where to look for a turbocharger, i would appreciate any replies.

well I haven't done any research on this.. but going on basic turbocharging knowledge.. anything is possible, assuming they don't make a kit, you'd probably need a custom manifold made, custom intercooler piping, coolant and oil lines to and from the turbo, and other misc stuff.. and then, I don't know much about the engine, but probably a small t3 or something with mild boost! either way, if there isn't a kit out there, your going to have to talk to a fabrication place.

Hi im a Camry owner and a member of the camryman.org forum the 1992 Camry had the same engine as your ES and it can be turboed, but it will take a full custum turbo and electronic turbo management.Since the compression of this engine is so high you will only be able to push 7LBS of boost maximum and that is realy maxing you cars systems.Depending on how many miles you got i would bot recomend a turbo for cars with over 75 000 miles cause it will only damage it faster.Maybe your best bet is getting a full engine and tranny swap with a 3s-gte with a 5spd manuel tranny, that engine can be realy moded and probably woth it if you have a 150 000 mile engine.Anyways hope i helped come to my website or to www.Toyotanation.com to chat more.
