Default Key cutting

How much would it cost to get a key cut if I already have a blank?

Cool

No idea. But good luck.
I don't know anyone, nor anyplace that can cut a key. Every Toyota / Lexus dealer I know of can only order pre-cut keys via the VIN.

But that's just me so...

Few places can replicate the original key provided you have the original Key to cut it with. Otherwise it is what pheonix said, ordered through the dealer via VIN # and proof of ownership.

There was 1 locksmith that provided the service I mentioned above called Koons locksmith, I don't know there # but you can google it. Lexus of Fort Myers FL, recommended them to me when I inquired about my 97 Es key replication.

Start calling up locksmith's. Chances are there should be at least a handful of them that have the machinery to duplicate the key. I paid around $50 for my key and provided the blank also. Most places I called quoted prices up to $70. Lexus charges way to much. Better to make the calls.

It wouldn't hurt to try it, but if you want to save a little bit of money, stop by the parts counter at your Toyota dealership to get your Lexus key(s) duplicated. I was at a Toyota 'ship this afternoon to get a couple parts, and there were a couple customers ahead of me getting their Toyota and Honda keys duplicated. The guy behind the counter had drawers for different brand keys, not just Toyota.

I know the Lexus dealership here in Miami cuts them but they charge $60. I went to a locksmith that does the laser key cutting and they charged me $18.
