well while pulling up to my cuzzins house, as i aprked my CEL light juss blinked on....when i popped the hood i hear a vacuum leak( air leaking) so i search around it sounds like its coming from that canister under the brake master cylinder ( vacuum canister i think)...well i go to autozone and get a free CEL read and it comes p0446 which is EVAP emission control system vent control malfunction...is that canister the vent control system or is it somewhere else???

If you do a search for "p0446", you'll immediately find that it points to a malfunction in the emissions (charcoal) canister, which is located in the fuel system. Here's a recent thread discussing this exact problem:

thanx, but the difference between my situation and those in the posts are mine didnt throw on a "trac off", i think it has more to do with that little air leak in my situation, but then again i could be wrong
