Brake Pads
Hi,
Please help if you can , I am about to replace my front Brake pads. I am not happy with the quality of The dealer's product as they leave some balck and dirty things on the wheels.
I tried to buy some product from Amazon ( Wagner ZD1293 ) but they don't fit not as the Website of amazon says
Please provide me with alternatives Cermic Brake pads ( Not Sport One) that could fit
Thanks alot

I use akebono ACT1222 and ACT1212 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake. They preformed better and Ultra-Quiet. Best part my wheels stay clean and never seen dust build up, whoever I wash my car every other weekend.
Here's a DIY I wrote up a while back.

Means they grind them down to even them out. You can usually only do it 1 or 2 times in the life of the rotors. It's a must if you're changing the pads. 60k miles will likely require replacing the rotors.

So true. I was able to get to 70k miles with not a lot of stop and go. The pads and grind down wasn't that expensive at independent shop. Anyone know the average cost at Lexus dealer for this?

I've got 10k miles on my 2015. When I went in for 10k service, I asked them to check brakes because it always makes slight grinding/shaving noise. (City driving) They said brakes are still good. I guess I will try the akebono at my next interval.
How long does oem pads and rotors last?

Depends how hard you are on them. My wife's RX has 69k miles and still on the original pads and rotors...
