headlights
I was told I could not order HID headlights with the lane departure alert. My dealer now tells me that I have the HID's, not halogen. The sticker says "lane departure alert w/ intelligent high beams". Anybody have the answer.

The Intelligent High Beams are high beams that activate and dim based on oncoming lights, whether they the low beams are HID or not is another matter. Check as the other poster suggested. In my area you need UL to get the HID's but then you can't get LDW.

If you have HIDs, there should be a yellow warning sticker talking about high voltages on top of the headlight housing. The back of the housing should also be sealed by a gray plastic dome.
High beams on the ES are halogen bulbs. The "intelligent" part comes from sensors that detect oncoming traffic and turn off the high beams momentarily to stop blinding other drivers.
