Right time to buy considering 2014 model being released soon?.

If you really wanted a deal you could have waited for the 2014s to come out and buy a 2013 left over stock. The dealer would have went down a lot to get rid of the old stock even with a build date of May-June 2013 etc

I was simply making a comment that the, mileage, on the old Lexus had a big influence on resale, almost more the model year.

2014 changes
They will probably update the driving light LED from individual bulbs to a solid line bar like on the current LS or the Audi A4. Maybe change the style of the wheels also. I hope they will add a sunglass holder also!

"I just brought mine home Saturday and that would really tick me off!! "
The 2014 model should be pretty much identical to the 2013 model, so don't lose any sleep over it!

Based on the previous gen ES I would guess that any changes will be minimal in just the 2nd model year. It's still selling well and changes will be made as sales begin to level off.

SO, when do the 2014's come out? I am in the process of selling my house and have to wait till after I settle to get my ES350. Im thinking Sept. I want the UL in the color I want and LDA etc on it. Living in the Mid Atlantic Im thinking I will have to order the car? So, picking up whats left on the lot most likely wont work for me, but this will be my 1st Lexus and I want what I want!

Thanks for the answer jollick. I kinda figured that time frame. If I wait that long, I might want to wait until after the chance of winter weather has passed. I have waited this long, a bit more won't hurt, will it?

No, it will not hurt at all. For me it was well worth the 4 month wait to get the options I wanted. I even tracked the ship from Japan.

That sounds like me tracking it from Japan. Im the older group that buys these cars, but still crazy about my car. Will probably get a woodgrain kit to add more wood to the interior. I love the looks and feel of the car

I envy you guys who have the patience to wait for a special order. I always buy from dealer inventory. As long as the car has my "must haves", I'll give up a "nice to have" or two if necessary.
