Window Tinting -SF Bay Area recommendations
Hello Lexus colleagues,
Any experiences and recommendations for tinting for ES300h in the East Bay (Greater San Francisco Bay Area), I am in the Dublin/Pleasanton area and would like some feedback.
What percentage for front and side windows and back?
brand or manufactured product used?
How long when booked?
What was the rate for service of tinting!
Thanks everybody in advance!

Try Yelp.com for your area. I found G5 Tint Shop on there. They have a 5 star rating with over 100+ reviews, unfortunately they are in SoCal. I used Huper Optik for the heat rejection. It took them about 3 hours.

one of my co-workers just had his Acura MDX done with Low Price Auto and Glass in Dublin. He was quite happy with the price and the service. $280 for all the windows.

Toy54,
I got a nebula gray with black semi-aniline interior, UL package, ML and LDA. I got 30% tint. I read some positive reviews about the Huper Optik on some forums. So I made sure to ask about it when I went to the tint shop. What sold me was the demo the shop gave me using a red heat lamp. They placed the lower end tint, Huper Optik and 3M crystalline in front of the lamp. There was a noticeable difference in the amount of heat that was going through the tint.

Nebula gray! is a fine choice, and I am glad to select that color. LL package with leather seats, i love the climate controlled front seats, and the tech touches are just right. I am enjoying the ride, and find all kinds of excuses for taking it out. I will check out the HuperOptik and consider the comments of others that have used tint installers and products that they use.
Enjoy your ride!

Do they let you tint the front windows? In the past, I had to remove the front tints in my GS, but it was as dark as the rears, which were about 30% grey. Just wondering?
