Outside temp reading is not correct.
Greetings.. Is it possible to calibrate the outside temperature sensor? Mine consistently registers between 2 or 3 degrees higher than what it actually is. (I've compared it against a precision thermometer over a period of several days while driving).
I had a 2000 Acura TL which had the capability of adjusting the temp reading by + or - three degrees providing a 6 degree adjustment. Does the temp sensor on the Lexus have the same capability?

Apparently not adjustable, all I could find in the user manual was:
Outside temperature display
In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be displayed, or
the display may take longer than normal to change.
● When stopped, or driving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20 km/h])
●When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/exit of a garage, tunnel, etc.)

Re: 2016 ES 300H 50,000 miles.
It is 90 degrees F here today. After an hour long shopping trip to Home Depot and Sprouts and the thermometer reading is 76. It has always been reliable before. Also my Park Assist front sensors are activating when the car is stopped at a light or going slowly in a parking lot. I don't know if they are related or not, but it seems strange to have two failures on the same day.
The only change in the weather is it is 20 degrees warmer today than it has been. The car is garaged.
Thoughts?
